This is the 17th annual edition of the R&D Scoreboard, which is published jointly by the Department for Innovation, Universities & Skills (DIUS) and the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform (BERR).
This summary emphasises the main messages of the Scoreboard concerning the Global 1250 and the UK's position in it, the separate UK 850 and the links between R&D and company success.
